OPS226 -Ends rc=8 when SYSOUT DD missing ----------------------------- SMTP-Send Installation README ----------------------------- The .XMI files in this directory are in TSO TRANSMIT format, suitable for binary download to a MVS host. 1) Download the Documentation -------------------------- The README.TXT (this file you're reading), and the SMTP-Send product manuals (.PDFs) can be downloaded to a PC where you can read the manuals using your PDF viewer. * readme.txt * SMTP-Send 6.0 Installation & Reference Guide.pdf * SMTP-Send 6.0 User Guide.pdf * SMTP-Send 6.0 Release Notes.pdf 2) Download the z/OS files for your Environment -------------------------------------------- The z/OS files are in TSO TRANSMIT format. You can download them to a PC then file transfer (in BINARY mode) them to your z/OS file system. a) All installs require the INSTLIB dataset, and the RECEIVE.JCL file. b) Select which LOADLIB(s) you require... If you run SMTP-Send in BATCH, download the LOADLIB. If you run SMTP-Send under CICS, download the CICSLOAD. If you run SMTP-Send in conjuntion with, or as a replacement for either of OfficePath, RAPID, OVFax, CLASY or SSWDA, then select those respective LOADLIBs. NOTE: Both the OfficePath, and RAPID Editions use the same libraries, OFP.LOADLIB (Batch) & OFP.CICSLOAD (CICS). c) If you run SMTP-Send from ISPF, download the 3 ISPxLIBs. 3) Run SMTPSEND.R60.RECEIVE.JCL ---------------------------- The RECEIVE.JCL file contains the z/OS JCL to restore the downloaded .XMI files, to usable datasets.
